From Hefei's practice to national experience, the new integrated inspection and evaluation model for rural roads has gained authoritative recognition!

Recently, the new model of "integrated road condition inspection and asset renewal" led by the Hefei Municipal Highway Management and Service Center and with full technical support from our company, was successfully selected as a model for sharing experiences in automated road condition inspection at the 2026 On-site Meeting on Promoting the High-Quality Development of "Four Good Rural Roads". It has become a typical experience that can be replicated and promoted nationwide. 

Addressing industry pain points and exploring new integrated operation models

For a long time, the separate implementation of rural road condition monitoring and asset surveys, coupled with poor data integration and untimely data updates, has been a common problem in grassroots management. Under the overall planning and guidance of the Hefei Municipal Highway Management and Service Center, our project team provided technical support for aspects such as automated road condition monitoring, simultaneous collection of road assets, data updates and storage, and application of results, promoting the formation of an integrated operation model of "one operation, two results produced simultaneously".

Technology empowers effectiveness, data drives precise management and maintenance

Through this model, road condition detection and highway asset survey have been transformed from two relatively independent tasks into a complete business chain of simultaneous collection, simultaneous updating, and collaborative application. This effectively improves the integrity, authenticity, and accuracy of basic rural road data, providing more reliable data support for maintenance decisions, funding arrangements, and refined management.

From the "Hefei Model" to "National Experience"

With the full implementation of the integrated data collection model, Hefei City has effectively addressed industry bottlenecks and difficulties such as separate surveys of rural road assets and road conditions, poor data integration, and insufficient decision-making support. The completeness, authenticity, accuracy, and application level of rural road data throughout the city have been systematically improved. From project implementation to the formation of replicable and scalable national experience, this success is attributed to the overall coordination and guidance of the Hefei Municipal Highway Management and Service Center. It also served as a practical test of our technical strength and delivery capabilities in the fields of rural road digitalization, automated inspection and evaluation, and data governance.
