Safety Improvement Project for Sharp Curves on Mountain Roads
To improve driving safety on mountain roads, the transportation department has deployed an intelligent early warning system upgrade project on sections of roads with sharp bends and steep slopes. This project adopts a closed-loop management mechanism of "front-end perception + cloud-based decision-making + terminal response," relying on roadside sensing devices to collect traffic flow data in real time, analyzing it using AI algorithms to generate early warning commands, and then disseminating them in real time through solar-powered early warning terminals.

It not only provides real-time and historical traffic flow data to help managers optimize traffic flow, reduce congestion, and improve road utilization efficiency, but also identifies potential safety hazards and takes measures to prevent traffic accidents by analyzing the data.

Hefei City Road Video Surveillance Construction Project
The "14th Five-Year Plan for Transportation Development in Hefei" proposes to "strengthen the construction of operational monitoring systems for the highway network, inland waterway network, and major ports; promote the construction of monitoring and surveillance systems for the daily operation status and emergency public events of urban passenger transport hubs, public buses, and rail transit; accelerate the construction of a comprehensive early warning system for transportation emergencies; and establish a rapid early warning release mechanism." To further enhance Hefei's highway maintenance and emergency response capabilities, improve its emergency response capabilities in severe weather and natural disasters, and reduce the risk of traffic accidents, video surveillance systems will be installed on some important sections of national and provincial highways.
