Project Overview
The "14th Five-Year Plan for Transportation Development in Hefei" proposes to "strengthen the construction of operational monitoring systems for the highway network, inland waterway network, and major ports; promote the construction of monitoring and surveillance systems for the daily operation status and emergency public events of urban passenger transport hubs, public buses, and rail transit; accelerate the construction of a comprehensive early warning system for transportation emergencies; and establish a rapid early warning release mechanism." To further enhance Hefei's highway maintenance and emergency response capabilities, improve its emergency response capabilities in severe weather and natural disasters, and reduce the risk of traffic accidents, video surveillance systems will be installed on some important sections of national and provincial highways.
